Freelance Radio Shift Editor

Fox News Radio is looking for a Freelance Shift Editor for our Terrestrial Radio News operation.  The Shift Editor is our editorial leader, working with news anchors to craft the content and structure of newscasts.  We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced deadline-driven newsroom, who excels at multi-tasking, has strong attention to detail, and works well in a team of journalists.  Your writing and editing skills must be excellent, your editorial judgment first-rate.  Qualified candidates must have at least five years of newsroom editorial experience, preferably in radio.  Since we are a 24/7 news operation, we require flexibility in scheduling, including the ability to work nights, overnights, weekends, and early mornings.
