Producer, Investigative Unit

Role Purpose:  

The investigative producer will prepare and develop sources in communities, companies and agencies across America and the world. Candidates must be willing and able to work flexible hours, under tight deadline pressure, including breaking news. This is a full-time position.

Job Duties:

  • Write research packets, articles, social media posts, FOIA requests, and television segments 
  • Reporting on breaking news events as well as long term investigations

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years television experience producing segments, researching and booking guests
  • An aggressive, self-starter who can interact with high profile talent and all-level guests and sources
  • A strong knowledge of current events, keen interest in politics & public affairs, and solid news judgment
  • Exceptional writing and research skills
  • Computer literate and comfortable with acquiring new skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A terrific attitude and an understanding of the value of team work
  • Ability to prioritize and managing multiple projects at once
  • The highest ethical standards are expected
