In this role you will oversee, define and drive branded content strategy for our in house Content Studio, 1211 Brand Connect.  You will create and execute mid to large-scale campaigns for advertisers. Your knack for understanding client goals and aligning their branding objectives will be key to your success.

A snapshot of your responsibilities:

  • Lead our in-house creative agency (“1211 Brand Connect”) in implementing and executing content opportunities.
  • Oversee custom branded content production from ideation to execution; including, writing, producing and post-production   
  • Deliver innovative and breakthrough work while successfully managing and delivering projects from ideation to execution
  • Cultivate partnerships with external agencies to further diversify the custom content/creative capabilities
  • Work in partnership with digital sales development team and Account Executives to create custom sponsorship ideas based upon specific client objectives
  • Ensure accurate and timely execution of sold campaigns in partnership with Production and Digital teams
  • Serve as the primary contact for the senior sales leadership team overseeing the process for all incoming RFPs and distribution
  • Deliver monthly analysis of key competitive marketing programs
  • Develop strong advertiser relationships in the branded content space


  • Experience developing senior brand client and content/creative/digital/social agency relationships
  • Experience in a people leadership role
  • Track record of developing strategically grounded and outstanding creative as it relates to digital mediums 
  • Deep understanding of brand marketing on digital and social media platforms (i.e. Facebook, Instagram etc.)
  • Experience working with branded content and digital editorial
  • Understanding of the creative development and distribution of custom branded content
  • Entrepreneurial and/or startup experience - combined with experience working at a big media company - a plus
