We are looking for a System Administrator in our Broadcast & Media Technology group to join our Fox News family.  As the ­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­system administrator you will provide troubleshooting and support for the Digital Newsroom and Graphics Engineering applications from the Fox News Washington DC Bureau. You will be part of a 10+ member team, supporting DC, NY and cloud-based resources.

This position is for the Mon-Fri afternoon/evening shift (4:00pm – 12:00 midnight).

A snapshot of your responsibilities:

  • Run diagnostics, perform troubleshooting analysis, and maintenance upgrades of software and hardware in a broadcast production environment.  
  • Work independently and quickly to troubleshoot and resolve problems.   
  • Contribute to documentation, planning, testing and deployment of new systems and projects in DC and NY.


  • Media Asset Management / Digital Asset Management administration or support experience.
  • Broadcast Graphics (VIZRT) application administration or support experience.
  • Broadcast ingest & playout systems knowledge.
  • Linux (RHEL) knowledge.
  • Windows Server (2016/2012/2008) knowledge.
  • Perl/Python/Bash or other shell scripting experience.

Additional Job Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree in computer science or equivalent major.
