Fox News is looking for an organized and detailed oriented Associate Producer who will work in our D.C. Bureau. In addition to your responsibilities for the DC Bureau you will also work contribute to Fox News Sunday. As the Associate Producer you will gather editorial information, cover events, generate story ideas and produce live shots. Your strong attention to detail and proactive nature will allow you to excel in this role as you strive to deliver a quality product in a fast paced 24-hour news environment.

Work Shift:  Flexibility to work holidays and hours outside those listed below is critical.

Friday hours – 9AM-6PM

Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday hours – 8AM-4PM

Sunday hours – 6AM-2PM


A snapshot of your responsibilities:

  • You will provide Newsroom support and elements for Reporters in the field
  • Produce live shots
  • Field produce on an as needed basis with the ability to shoot, write and edit packages for on-air programming
  • Log news events
  • Organize and cut digital media elements for interviews and panel segments
  • Locate hard to find sound bites and voice over material
  • Create accurate and easily-understood on screen graphics
  • You will proactively research and pitch visual materials



  • 2 + years’ experience in a related role
  • You have a strong working knowledge of digital media production
  • You pay extra attention to detail especially as information moves directly on-air
  • Strong knowledge of news, politics, and the DC area
  • Working knowledge of iNews
  • Must have strong logistical skills
