Associate Producer, Lou Dobbs Tonight

Role Purpose:

The Associate Producer works closely with producers and anchors to prepare stories for Lou Dobbs Tonight on Fox Business Network.

Job Duties:

  • Produce segments, reporter hits and graphics
  • Edit packages, write packets and conduct in-depth research
  • Book high-profile guests
  • Set up and conduct interviews
  • Pitch stories daily
  • Field produce on occasion

Basic Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of television experience booking guests, researching and producing segments
  • High-level knowledge of national and political news, with an eye for offbeat stories and angles
  • Knowledge of social media platforms
  • Can interact with high profile talent and all-level guests
  • Great communication skills, creative and “out of the box” thinking, has a terrific attitude, and works well with a team
  • Familiarity with iNews, Ardome and VIZ
  • Familiarity with package editing
