Job Description:

FOX News Digital is seeking a Full-Time, on site, Digital Media Designer for its Product Development team. Conceive and develop ideas for each project. Create mockups for various online content and media from websites to virals, banners to social networking, and the iPhone as well.

Qualifications:

At least 3-5 years of design experience

A keen eye for design, color and typography (pixel accuracy)

A desire to create high concept and beautifully crafted online content

Solid understanding of web standards, compression and best practices

Time management excellence for multiple projects

Communicate with Business Analysts, Product Managers and Web Designers

Design prototype and user interfaces for websites and applications

Create static and animated banner ads to promote the website, along with developing functional landing pages

Flash and Actionscript knowledge and experience

Working knowledge of Adobe After Effects a plus

3D modeling, rendering, and animation a plus

Responsibilities:

Work closely with interactive developers to optimize user experience

Work with potential web partners on any outsourced content creation

Research information and best practices to enhance value of designs

Ensure consistency with corporate design and brand guidelines

Participate in special projects or task forces as opportunities arise

Able to flourish on a project, in a team, or solo
